About Us

The Alliance Performance Center of Tucson (APCOT), is a single destination for performing arts groups. Conveniently located on the city's Northeast Side. Ample parking, four different stage configurations  and ADA compatibility.

For the theatre companies, APCOT is a convenient facility  with sound-proof walls, storage space, dressing room, parking, set-building capabilities, costume and prop sharing, sound and lighting equipment, box office, rehearsal space and much more. Companies and individuals, interested in self-producing a play or performance event, will have  everything in one location. And, the main stage is a unique work of art, whether configured as a Horseshoe, Proscenium, Round or Runway Stage.

APCOT desires to stimulate, promote, teach and develop interest in the dramatic and performing arts; to educate the greater general public in the dramatic and performing arts; to advance the already high level of culture in the field of dramatic and performing arts by the establishing and maintaining a theater for the production of plays, musicals, readings, dramas, comedies, shows, exhibitions, and other dramatic and performing arts in all forms and of the highest standards.

APCOT provides a common location through which community groups and Tucson arts organizations may perform their craft, and addresses the shortage of theater, rehearsal, and performance space available for rental in Tucson.

APCOT’s ultimate goal is to provide the community with educational opportunities, i.e., classes in acting, dance, stagecraft, and summer arts camp for children.
